The Promoter of this giveaway is The Works Ltd (company no.6557400), whose registered office is at The Works, Boldmere House, Faraday Avenue, Hams Hall Distribution Park, Coleshill, Birmingham. B46 1AL. 

Giveaway/Prize

The title of the giveaway is “£100 The Works Gift Voucher April 2024 Prize Draw” giving entrants the chance to win a £100 gift voucher to spend at The Works.

Prize

A £100 gift voucher to spend at The Works. The £100 gift voucher must be redeemed in UK stores only and cannot be used online.

Eligibility

The giveaway is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over (The Works Ltd reserves the right to request proof of age if required) except:

Employees of the Promoter, or its holding, affiliate, or subsidiary companies.

Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding, affiliate, or subsidiary companies who are professionally connected with the giveaway or its administration; or

Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

In entering this giveaway, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the giveaway.

How to Enter

The giveaway is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.

Entrants must click on the ‘Enter now’ button in the email to enter the prize draw. Entry to the prize draw will close at 23:59 hours on Sunday 14^th April 2024. Entries after this date will not be included in the prize draw. Only one entry per person. Only customers already subscribed to receiving email marketing from The Works will receive an email giving them the opportunity to enter the prize draw. Entries will not be valid if the email is forwarded and someone who isn’t the original email recipient clicks on the ‘Enter now’ button.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network, or server failure of any kind nor will the promoter be responsible for any damage to an entrant’s computer or electronic equipment occasioned by participation in a giveaway or downloading of any information necessary to participate in the giveaway.

No applications from third parties, organised groups, or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted.

The winner and claiming the prize

One winner will be chosen by a random draw performed by a computer process and contacted via email by Friday 19^th April 2024. The winner must respond via email with their postal address so we can arrange delivery of the £100 gift voucher to spend at The Works. The winner will have until 23:59 hours on Tuesday 30 April to respond and claim their prize. Please note that the gift voucher will expire 12 months from the date of activation and any remaining balance will be removed. The prize will be sent to the winner via local delivery within 30 days of the prize being claimed by the winner. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no alternative is offered. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf. The promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

The promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.

The decision of the promoter regarding any aspect of this giveaway/ prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into about it.

The promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the winner and, if applicable a copy of their winning entry, to anyone who emails enquiries@theworks.co.uk or writes to FAO The CRM Team, The Works, Boldmere House, Faraday Avenue, Hams Hall Distribution Park, Coleshill, Birmingham. B46 1AL (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one (1) month after the closing date. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the promoter at: enquiries@theworks.co.uk. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.

Personal Data

When contacting the winner of the giveaway the Promoter will ask for your full name and postal address for the purpose of delivering the prize. The Promoter will not pass on your personal details to any other person or organisation, except when the giveaway is run in partnership with another company who will be sending out the prize (“Giveaway Supplier”) and is therefore necessary in order to deliver the prize in accordance with this giveaway and as set out above.

Personal data supplied during the course of this giveaway will only be processed as set out in the promoter's privacy policy linked here.

General

By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. The promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the giveaway where it becomes necessary to do so. The decision of the promoter is final and binding.

The promoter reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to undermine the entry process, the website, the Facebook/Instagram account, and/or the legitimate operation of the giveaway/ prize draw.

Insofar as is permitted by law, the promoter, its agents, or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury, or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

This giveaway will be governed by English law and entrants to this giveaway submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
