1.Promoter
1.1 The Promoter of this giveaway is The Works Limited, registered office is at Boldmere House, Faraday Avenue, Hams Hall Distribution Park, Coleshill, Birmingham B46 1AL.
1.2 The promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.
2.Giveaway/Prize
2.1The title of the giveaway is The Works Masterpiece, giving entrants the chance to win a £50 voucher to spend in-store by simply using the hashtag #TheWorksMasterpiece, following the pages and tagging in The Works Instagram account (@theworksstores)

3.Eligibility
3.1The giveaway is open to all residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over (The Works reserves the right to request proof of age if required) except:
a)Employees of the Promoter, or its holding, affiliate or subsidiary companies;
b)Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding, affiliate or subsidiary companies who are professionally connected with the giveaway or its administration; or
c)Members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
3.2In entering this giveaway, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the giveaway.
4.How to Enter
4.1The giveaway is free to enter, and no purchase is necessary.
4.2All participants must engage with the post in accordance with the details in condition 2 and only one entry per person is permitted. All entries must be completed in full in order to be valid, which requires completion of all steps detailed in the post, as requested. Any incomplete entries will not be considered invalid for entry into the giveaway.
4.3The opening date for entries is 20:00 (BST) on 14th August 2022. The closing date of the giveaway is 23:59 (BST) on 29th August 2022. Entries received after this time will not be accepted. All times referred are to UK time (BST).
4.4The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network, or server failure of any kind nor will the promoter be responsible for any damage to an entrant’s computer or electronic equipment occasioned by participation in a giveaway or downloading of any information necessary to participate in the giveaway.
4.5Proof of sending is not proof of receipt and the promoter does not accept any responsibility for the non-receipt or the late receipt of message due to network failure. No applications from third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. No incomplete or corrupted entries will be accepted.
5.The Winner and claiming the prize
5.1One winner be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on 30th August 2022. They must follow ALL steps ( use the hashtag, follow, and tag The Works account in their upload) which will be checked. System used will be https://commentpicker.com/ where answers will be uploaded into the random answer checker and a winner announced.
5.2All data collected will be deleted after the competition has ended and no personal details will be stored on our systems. All GDPR compliances will be followed.
5.3The winner will receive a £50 voucher. Any taxes, expenses or other costs incurred that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the relevant winner except for payment of delivery which The Works will cover the cost.
5.4The winner will be chosen and contacted via The Works Instagram page with the instruction to direct message The Works via Instagram to claim their prize and share their contact details. The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner does not respond to the Promoter’s contact within 48 hours of such notification, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select an alternative winner from all valid entries received in accordance with the process described above.
5.4The prize will be sent to the winner via Royal mail within 30 days of the prize being claimed by the winner as set out in condition 5.3 above.
5.5The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no alternative is offered. The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf. The promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.
5.6The promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
5.7The decision of the promoter regarding any aspect of this giveaway/ prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into about it.
5.8The promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the winner and, if applicable a copy of their winning entry, to anyone who emails enquiries@theworks.co.uk or writes to FAO The Works Stores, Boldmere House, Faraday Avenue, Hams Hall Distribution Park, Coleshill, Birmingham B46 1AL (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one (1) month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the promoter at: enquiries@theworks.co.uk. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
6.Personal Data
6.1 When contacting the winner of the giveaway the Promoter will ask for your full name and email address for the purpose of delivering the prize. The Promoter will not pass on your personal details to any other person or organisation, except when the giveaway is run in partnership with another company who will be sending out the prize (“Giveaway Supplier”) and is therefore necessary in order to deliver the prize in accordance with this giveaway and as set out above.
6.2 By entering the giveaway, and on acceptance of any prize, you consent to the promoter providing your details to the giveaway supplier required in order to supply any prize you win.
6.3 Personal data supplied during the course of this giveaway will only be processed as set out in the promoter's privacy policy linked here: https://www.theworks.co.uk/page/privacy-policy.html See also condition 5.8 with regard to the announcement of the winner.
7.General
7.1 By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
7.2 The promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the giveaway where it becomes necessary to do so. The decision of the promoter is final and binding.
7.3 The promoter reserves the right (at its sole discretion) to disqualify any individual it finds to be attempting to undermine the entry process, the website, the Instagram and/or the legitimate operation of the giveaway/ prize draw.
7.4 Insofar as is permitted by law, the promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
7.5 This giveaway will be governed by English law and entrants to this giveaway submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
